Foscarini risked their first plastic venture with Havana, departing from traditional Murano glass. The gamble became their signature success. Abstract yet familiar, futuristic yet timeless, Havana's segmented shape suits any environment. Its warm light and human proportions work standalone or as architectural multiples. "This lamp does not fit into space, it creates it." MoMA featured Havana in 'Mutant Materials in Contemporary Design' (1995) before acquiring it for their permanent collection.
