In 2017, CL Yachts challenged forakis … design to reimagine yacht design and yachting experiences, providing complete creative freedom to envision tomorrow's vessel.

Approaching their first yacht commission with characteristic research and Jozeph's sailing passion, the team created a vessel departing from convention. The design reflects the shipyard's heritage building both commercial ships and luxury yachts, inspiring the 'workboat chic' concept—combining explorer seafaring capabilities with modern flybridge luxury and performance.

The bold, visually distinctive profile emerges from a holistic reconsideration of onboard living and marine functionality, guided by precise structural principles. Designed for intimate connection with nature, CLX96 features flowing indoor-outdoor spaces with exceptional natural light penetration, achieved through advanced composites enabling slender, rigid structures and oversized windows.
